Getting ready for college can seem like a lot of work. Not to worry. We have broken out the main steps here for you to make coming to Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ a breeze.

Completing an application is the first step in the admissions process. Complete an Application for Admission to the college (providing all requested information)
Applicants will be notified in an email of their acceptance into the College. Students will not be eligible to register for classes until they have completed the admissions process and are admitted to their program. Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ is a first come, first admitted institution (with the exception of Nursing and Respiratory Care). Students are encouraged to get all required admissions materials submitted as soon as possible to secure a spot in their desired program of study.
Additional Information for Nursing Students:
Nursing at Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ is a competitive application process. Students who have completed the pre-requisite courses as listed on the Nursing website, or believe that they will have them completed by Fall 2026 are eligible to complete the program application below. Students who have completed the college application (not necessary if you are a current Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ student), the program application, and provided all documentation requested and official transcripts will be considered for the nursing program.
If you are needing to take the pre-requisite courses for the nursing program you only need to fill out the college application above and indicate your program of interest as pre-nursing.
Practical Nursing Program Application
ACT or Accuplacer test scores are NOT required for admission to Fort Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ Tech | North Central. Although, if you have taken these tests, please request for them to be sent to the Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ Registrar's Office.
If you are applying to be a pre-nursing, practical nursing or pre-respiratory care student, you are required to take the TEAS test before being admitted to the college.
Financial aid and scholarships are available to help with your educational expenses. Start by filling out the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) to see what financial aid you qualify for. You can then apply for scholarships offered by Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ.

As a student of Fort Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ Tech, you will be able to choose from apartment style housing on our Beloit campus, off campus housing at either location or work through the FHSU Gateway program for campus housing in the Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ area.
